CMC-Drucker Connection
Claremont McKenna College is recognized internationally
for its tradition of educating students for leadership in business, the professions,
academia, the non-profit sector, and government. CMC is consistently ranked
among the top 15 liberal arts colleges in the nation. Today, one of every nine
CMC alumni (eleven percent) is a partner, CEO, owner, or president of an organization.
Through the strong liberal arts foundation of the general education requirements
and tightly structured academic majors, CMC students develop strong conceptual,
analytical, and communication skills; an understanding of the techniques and
discipline of research; and specialized knowledge related to their majors.
The Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate
School of Management at Claremont Graduate
University offers graduate education focused on developing and enriching
tomorrow's business leaders. Through advanced coursework in topics such as strategy,
finance, marketing, and leadership, Day 4 + 1 students gain the broad-based
knowledge of a traditional MBA. The Drucker School's diverse student body also
provides a global perspective for students interested in international business.
The Day 4 + 1 Program takes advantage of the compatability of the respective
missions and geographical proximity of CMC and CGU. By combining the best of
a liberal arts education with management training, the Day 4 + 1 Program seeks
to develop a new generation of outstanding leaders.
