Early Decision (Freshman Only)

Students for whom Claremont McKenna College is clearly the first choice may apply under an Early Decision option. Candidates who are admitted under Early Decision are expected to enroll at Claremont McKenna College and to withdraw all other applications and to initiate no new ones. The decision is binding. Students for whom Claremont McKenna College is not a clear first choice should apply under the Regular Decision option.

The Early Decision I application deadline is November 15. Candidates will be notified about admission by December 15.

The Early Decision II application deadline is January 2. Candidates will be notified about admission by February 15.

In order to apply for financial aid, Early Decision I candidates must complete the Financial Aid CSS PROFILE form by December 1. After January 1, but before February 1, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be filed. Early Decision II candidates must complete the Financial Aid CSS PROFILE form by January 1 and the FAFSA by February 1.
