About The Campaign For Claremont McKenna
Claremont McKenna College emerged in the wake of World War II, creating a new space in American higher education with $88,000 and a dream. Embracing the liberal arts education shaped first by New England Congregationalists, believing that students should be well-rounded and knowledgeable about more than just their core discipline, the founders took that notion a step further by focusing on identifying and developing leaders.
