Nationwide Internships Consortium (NIC)
CMC is a member of NIC, sharing internship listings with 16 other selective liberal arts colleges across the country. This consortium allows current students access to over 4,000 internships listings each year. The NIC database is accessible only through CMConnect.
CMC is a partner in the Selective Liberal Arts Consortium (SLAC) which provides additional employment opportunities for seniors, as well as two virtual career fairs, one for internships (for sophomores and juniors) and one for full-time opportunities.
The CSC offers the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Strong Interest Inventory (SII), and CareerLeader used to help in the career exploration process.
The CSC has a library with titles on all aspects of the job search, graduate school preparation (including information on tests), national awards and fellowships. There are also computers available for career development purposes. Find us on the 2nd floor in Heggblade Center.
Virtually all career services that were available to you as a CMC student are available to you as an alumna/us. There are no charges for CSC-provided services; affiliated programs may charge a fee for some services.
CMC alumni are a critical networking community for CMC students. The Alumni Career Contacts database is provided for students to access this exceptional resource.
