Experience: None
As a first this year, we are offering a trip to San Diego to learn how to surf, enjoy beach life, and experience what San Diego has to offer.
Professional surf instructors will teach you the basics of this California past time at your own pace. Afternoons and evenings will be spent discovering the charm of the Southern California lifestyle by doing different activities in and around San Diego.
Students will camp near the water in a relaxed setting. First time surfers are welcome but all students must be strong swimmers. |

Students will canoe 10 to 15 miles each day. They will paddle from Needles, CA to Lake Havasu City, AZ. The trip is four days and three nights of camping along the river. The temperature gets quite warm but there is always time for taking a swim in the cool Colorado River. During the trip, participants will pass through the magnificent scenery along the river including Topock Gorge. All canoeing equipment is provided by a local outfitter. While no previous canoeing or camping experience is necessary, students must be capable swimmers. |
