Prof. Amir Barnea Assistant Professor of Financial Economics at CMC, has interests in corporate finance, corporate governance, social networks, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and social responsible investing (SRI).

 

Prof. George Batta is an Assistant Professor of Economics-Accounting at Claremont McKenna College and he specializes in financial analysis, credit analysis, and valuation.

Prof. Murat Binay is an Assistant Professor of Financial Management at Claremont Graduate University who has expertise in corporate finance, investments, and institutional investors.

 

Prof. Richard Burdekin, Jonathan B. Lovelace Professor of Economics at Claremont McKenna College, specializes in money and banking.

 

Prof. Ludwig Chincarini, Pomona College Assistant Professor of Economics, specializes in investments, portfolio management, and derivatives.

 

Prof. Henrik Cronqvist, Assistant Professor of Financial Economics at CMC, specializes in empirical corporate finance and governance and behavioral finance.

 

Prof. Gary Evans is the Ruth and Harvey Berry Professor of Entrepreneurial Leadership at Harvey Mudd College. He specializes in enterprise and entrepreneurship, financial institutions, and small business development.

 

Prof. Darren Filson, Associate Professor of Economics at Claremont McKenna College, specializes in industrial organization and corporate policy.

 

Prof. Ananda Ganguly, Associate Professor of Economics at Claremont McKenna College has interests in behavioral accounting and economic decision-making and specializes in investors’ and accountants’ decision-making. He also specializes on the interface between individual decision-making and aggregate market outcomes.

 

Prof. Michelle Goeree, Assistant Professor of Economics at Claremont McKenna College, specializes in industrial organization, microeconomics, and econometrics.

 

Prof. Eric Helland, Robert J. Lowe Professor of Economics and George R. Roberts Fellow at Claremont McKenna College, specializes in law and economics and industrial organization.

 

Prof. Eric Hughson, the Don and Lorraine Freeberg Professor of Economics at Claremont McKenna College, specializes in financial economics.  He is also the Director of the Financial Economics Institute.

 

Prof. Marc Massoud is the Robert A. Day Distinguished Professor of Accounting and Director of the Accounting Program at Claremont McKenna College, and specializes in financial accounting.

 

Prof. Lisa Meulbroek holds the Fritz B. Burns Chair in Financial Economics at Claremont McKenna College, and specializes in executive compensation, risk management, and insider trading.  She is also the Associate Director of the Financial Economics Institute.

 

Prof. Josh Rosett is the Curb Family Associate Professor of Business and Law and George R. Roberts Fellow at Claremont McKenna College and specializes in financial reporting, intangible asset measurement and firm valuation.

 

Prof. Gary Smith is the Fletcher Jones Professor of Economics at Pomona College, and specializes in investments, financial markets, and statistics.

 

Prof. Janet Kiholm Smith, Von Tobel Professor of Economics and Dean of the Robert Day School of Economics and Finance at Claremont McKenna College, Smith specializes in industrial organization and new venture finance.

 

Dr. Margaret Smith is an Adjunct Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at CMC who teaches Corporate Finance. She is also President of Smith Financial Place, a fee-only financial planning/coaching firm in Claremont, CA.

 

Prof. Richard Smith is Professor of Financial Management and Associate Dean at the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University, and specializes in corporate finance, entrepreneurial finance, and risk management.

 

Prof. Marc Weidenmier is the William F. Podlich Associate Professor of Economics, Director of the Lowe Institute of Political Economy, and George R. Roberts Fellow at Claremont McKenna College.  He is also an NBER Research Fellow.  He specializes in monetary and financial history. 

 

Prof. Thomas Willett is the Horton Professor of Economics, holding joint appointments at Claremont McKenna College and Claremont Graduate University. He specializes in international finance and public policy.

 

Prof. Fan Yu Associate Professor of Financial Economics at CMC, has interests in investments, derivatives, fixed income securities, credit risk modeling, fixed income and credit arbitrage strategies, credit and operational risk management, corporate governance and the cost of debt, and real options.

 

Prof. Paul Zak is Professor of Economics of the School of Politics and Economics and the founding Director of the Center for Neuroeconomics Studies, both at the Claremont Graduate University.  He specializes in neuroeconomics, macroeconomics, finance and General Equilibrium Theory.
