AFTER YOU HAVE APPLIED
When will I receive my financial aid award notification?
All students must adhere to published deadlines. For incoming freshman and transfers: if you submit your financial aid application materials on time, you will receive a financial aid notification within a few days of your admission letter. For returning students: packets will not be mailed until mid- to late-summer; your packet may be delayed if you failed to complete your financial aid application by our April 15 deadline. You can log on to NetPartner to view the status of all documents and ensure that your application is complete, and we ask that you remain patient after completing your financial aid application.
I was not packaged with any loans. Does this mean I am not eligible?

What is work-study?
Work-study allows students with financial need an opportunity to make money for educational expenses through part-time work. Students with work-study are eligible to work on- or off-campus, up to 20 hours per week when school is in session, and earn up to the total amount of their work-study award. Work-study can only be earned at jobs that are designated work-study jobs. You can learn more about work-study at the work-study section of our website.
How do I get a work-study job?
The Claremont McKenna College Financial Aid Office does not assign work-study jobs—you must apply for them! On- and Off-campus jobs can be found by visiting the Career Services Center webpage at /csc/. Simply click on the CMConnect link and you will be able to view both on and off-campus work-study positions. |
