How And When To Apply For Financial Aid for Returning Students
Each year we examine our application procedures to see how we can process your paperwork in a more timely and efficient manner. Claremont McKenna College in partnership with the College Board, utilizes advancing technology to streamline the financial aid process. We ask that you read the following instructions very carefully as you begin the financial aid renewal application process.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required to be completed by all students in order to apply for financial aid. (School Code: 001170).
You are also required to complete the CSS PROFILE Application and forward it to the College Board by March 2. (School code: 4054).
All students are required to submit signed copies of student and parent 2007 Federal Income Tax Returns (including all schedules, 1099s, and W-2 forms) directly to the College Board's document imaging service (IDOC) by May 1, 2008. CMC utilizes a state-of-the-art scanning service that will allow us to retrieve your information electronically from the College Board. We assure you that your privacy is completely protected through this process. You will receive information from the College Board regarding this process.
