NAMED ALUMNI FUND SCHOLARSHIPS
— Connecting the Generations
Each year a dedicated group of CMC alumni choose to directly impact the lives of a student or group of students by making gifts that fund Named Alumni Fund Scholarships. For each Alumni Fund gift of $10,000, the scholarship committee bestows a need-based scholarship on a student in the name of the donor. At CMC, approximately 52% of students receive need-based financial aid. Named Alumni Fund Scholarship donors provide significant support to the College, enabling it to be one of only 35 colleges and universities nationwide with a need-blind admission policy.
The generosity of these individuals is recognized in many meaningful ways. On a personal level, donors have the opportunity to meet their scholarship recipient, fostering a special bond between one generation and the next. CMC recognizes these contributions, along with endowed scholarships, in the College's course catalog and in the Commencement program.
