Introduction to Queries
Sorting and filtering can be a good way to organize and use your information, but you'll probably find that you perform certain sorts and filters over and over again. In this case it's often helpful to build a query. Like the name implies, queries are a way to ask your database a question, such as "Which are the 5 newest members of my club?" or "How many members does my club have?" Of course, you cannot just type in those questions. Instead, Access provides simple tools that can be used to construct queries.
