SOURCE Mission Statement
The mission of SOURCE is to help local nonprofits build capacity and increase efficiency by providing professional consulting services at no additional cost to the organizations, while at the same time enhancing student development. The overarching goal is that the value of SOURCE's services will exceed the monetary compensation students receive. Sponsored by the Kravis Leadership Institute, SOURCE is a student-run organization on Claremont McKenna College's campus that has been consulting with nonprofits in the Claremont area since 2005.

SOURCE Funding
The Kravis Leadership Institute, from the outset, has provided the revenue necessary for the overall operation of SOURCE. As SOURCE has worked to expand it's revenue base, the level of the KLI funding has fluctuated according to the commitment levels of other funding sources. For example, since 2006, SOURCE has received an annual community-based organization grant from the City of Claremont. In 2009, the Jenzabar Foundation awarded SOURCE a large grant in recognition of SOURCE's outstanding student leadership in local community service. With the launch of its Advisory Committee, and an expanded strategic vision for it's work, a goal is to create a sustainable revenue base that includes funding from a broader range of funding sources beyond KLI.
