19TH ANNUAL KRAVIS-DeROULET LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE - Leading Social Change: Entrepreneurial Solutions, Cross-Sector Collaborations ::  FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2009 :: MILLENNIUM BILTMORE HOTEL, LOS ANGELES, CA
The 19th annual Kravis-de Roulet leadership conference, Leading Social Change, will highlight the efforts of social entrepreneurs as they strive to "change the world" through innovative solutions to global social problems. The conference will focus on how social entrepreneurs engage various collaborators, bringing together the necessary puzzle pieces, to construct solutions for complex local and global societal problems.  Specific topics will include:  Designing the business model for social change through social entrepreneurship, Establishing and managing cross-sector collaborations for entrepreneurial initiatives, Investing in and securing resources for social enterprises, Leading social entrepreneurial ventures, Analyzing and evaluating impact—metrics for social change  Leading social entrepreneurs will present case studies in small group breakout sessions and keynote speakers will include winners of the Kravis Prize in Nonprofit Leadership, and noted heads of social sector organizations.
