Functional Analysis Seminar, November 17

Claremont McKenna College's Mathematics Department will begin its third year of hosting the Southern California Functional Analysis Seminars (SCFA). This year's first seminar will take place from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 17th in the Davidson Lecture Hall.
Guest speakers include Mario Martelli, professor of mathematics at Claremont McKenna College (Global Stability for Continuous and Discrete Dynamical Systems; 2-3 p.m.) and H.G. Dales, professor of mathematics at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom (Multi-Banach Spaces and Multi-Banach Algebras; 3:30-4:30 p.m.).
Sessions are open to the public; refreshments will be served.
