Announcements

There will be no class on Monday, 12/8/08. Instead we will have an additional review session on Thursday,
12/11/08, at 8:00 pm in, RS 102 -- come prepared with questions!!! I will also not hold office hours
on Monday 12/8/08, but instead I will have office hours on Friday, 12/12/08, 1:30 - 3:00 pm.

Final will cover the material of sections 1.1-1.4, 2.1-2.3, 3.1-3.6, 4.1-4.3, 5.1-5.6, 6.1 - 6.3. Review for the final will happen in class during the week of December 8, the last week of classes. Come prepared with questions!!!
Remark: a good way to prepare for the final is to solve problems from the Chapter Tests A and B
at the end of each of the chapters 1 - 6. It also helps to review the homework problems,
midterms along with their solutions, and practice tests for the midterms.

Midterm 2 will cover the material of sections 3.5-3.6, 4.1-4.3, 5.1-5.4. Review session for midterm 2 is scheduled for Friday, 11/7/08 at 2:00 pm in RS 102. Come prepared with questions!!!

Midterm 1 will cover the material of sections 1.1-1.4, 2.1-2.3, 3.1-3.4. Review session for midterm 1 is scheduled for Thursday, 10/2/08 at 5:30 pm in RHN 105. Come prepared with questions!!!
