Army ROTC is one of the largest providers of scholarships in the country, making thousands of awards to students every year.
The Army ROTC scholarship program provides financial assistance for the education and training of highly qualified and motivated young men and women who desire to be commissioned as officers in the Army after graduation from college.
Room and Board
CMC provides room and board for scholarship students. The value for the 2001-2002 School year is $8160.

Loans
CMC provides the opportunity for INTEREST FREE students loans of up to $6000 per year. The student must have a parent cosign and the total amount of the scholarship cannot cause student aid to exceed the Total Cost of Education. The loan repayment may be deferred until after active service is complete.
Selection
Winners are chosen based on their academic records, SAT/ACT test results, teacher evaluations, extracurricular activities, leadership potential,a physical aptitude exam, and a personal interview.
Four-Year Scholarships
Eligibility:
- You must be a U.S. Citizen
- You've taken the SAT or ACT and have a minimum 920 SAT or composite of 19 ACT.
- You must be at least 17 before the scholarship is effective.
- You have competitive high school grades.
- You participate in extracurricular and athletic activities
- You must be under 27 on June 30 of the year you expect to graduate. (Veterans may be granted an age extension of up to four years.)
- You agree to accept a commission in the U.S. Army.
- You meet required physical standards.
Three- and Two-Year Scholarships
Eligibility
- You must be a U.S. Citizen
- You have a minimum 920 SAT or composite 19 ACT.
- You have a minimum 2.5 GPA in your college courses.
- You are recommended by the Professor of Military Science.
- You'll be under 27 on June 30 of the year you expect to graduate. (Veterans may be
granted an age extension of up to four years.)
- You meet required physical standards.
