MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 1988 Under the leadership of sophomore Charlene Lee, the James Madison Society has planned an ambitious schedule of speakers during the '88-89 college year. Their first guest is Larry David '66. Mr. David is an international businessman who lives and works in Hong Kong. An expert on the subtleties of conducting business in a foreign country, he believes that China's increasing emergence as a world player will significantly impact the international economy. Mr. David focuses on these changes and on the future of China. His address is entitled "The Effect, Present and Future, of China's Modernization on International Trade."
