Fiesta California: Chicanos and Contemporary American Politics

Monday September 10, the Claremont Colleges Chicano Studies Center in conjunction with the CMC Dean of Students Office and the MMC Athenaeum will sponsor a dinner and speech by New Mexico's Governor Toney Anaya.

Dynamic speaker Governor Anaya, a prominent Chicano community leader, will speak at 8:00 p.m, on the role of the Chicano community in American politics today. There will be a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. Reservations for the dinner portion of the Fiesta California program must be in by Friday, September 7 at noon.
