Alumni Reception with Professor Ed Haley

The Los Angeles Chapter of the CMC Alumni Association will host an evening reception with P. Edward Haley, the W.M. Keck Foundation Chair of International Strategic Studies, on Thursday, April 26 at the Bonaventure Brewing Company in the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. The 6 p.m. reception will be immediately followed by Haley's presentation on Israel, Iraq and Islam: Giving American Foreign Policy a Chance to Succeed.

Haley is the author of Strategies of Dominance and After 9/11: The Roles of Civil Society in International Security. In addition to his classroom visibility, he has served as acting director of The Center for the Study of Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights at CMC, as well as the Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies, for which he is a member of the board of governors and a senior research associate.

Haley is a graduate of Stanford University, and earned his doctorate degree in international relations from the School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University.
