Dance Concert 2005

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Pomona College will present Dance Concert 2005 at 8 p.m., April 28-30, and at 2 p.m, on May 1, showcasing an array of tap, modern, and jazz-style dances performed by more than 45 students and alumni from The Claremont Colleges and the Claremont School of Theology.

Chelsea Norell ’08 and CMC alumnus Brendan Behan ’03 will be among the performers, as well as guest artists Nick Haim and D.J. Gray of New York, Maria Gillespie of Los Angeles, and faculty choreographers Laurie Cameron (artistic director of the Pomona College dance program) and Kim Gadlin.

Performances will be held at Pomona College’s Seaver Theatre. Tickets are $5 for faculty, staff, alumni, and students, and $10 for the general public. For more information, call the Seaver Theatre box office between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 909-607-4375 or 607-4376.
