Gordon Bjork, who teaches economics at Claremont McKenna College, is available for interviews and analysis about financial markets and the U.S. economy.
Professor Bjork is the author of the forthcoming book Structural Change and the Slowdown of U.S. Growth: The way it worked and why it won’t (Praeger). His expertise includes banking, economic forecasting, and welfare economics. His previous books include Private Enterprise and Public Interest: The Development of American Capitalism and Life, Liberty, and Property.

A former Rhodes Scholar who has held appointments at Columbia University, Carleton University, University of British Columbia, and the University of Hawaii, Professor Bjork has served on the faculty of Claremont McKenna College since 1975.
