End of Year Countdown:
Take the Challenge Today

David Nahmias '10 has taken the challenge have you?
Currently in Mexico City on a Fulbright Scholarship, Nahmias has accepted the Crown Challenge, along with over 2,600 other CMCers. With a four-year pledge of any amount to CMC's Annual Fund, the Crown Challenge will make a $500 gift to CMC, through the generosity of Steve Crown '74.
"CMC helped shape me into who I am today and absolutely prepared me for my professional and personal life," says Nahmias. "For me, it is vital to give back to Claremont McKenna to ensure that other students have the same opportunities that I did."
As a Fulbright Scholar, Nahmias is working at Ashoka in Mexico City, learning about social entrepreneurship, and he will transition to Ashoka's Washington D.C. office in a full-time position.
"I owe so much of this valuable experience to my time at CMC, where I was exposed on a daily basis to amazing opportunities to learn and grow," he says. By giving back, Nahmias is supporting the College's goal to educate leaders.
With CMC's fiscal year ending June 30, time is running out to make your gift to the college. Our goal this year is to gain 46 percent participation in alumni giving, which would best the other Claremont colleges (including Pomona), and would equal the largest number of alumni donors in CMC's history. We are only 250 CMCers away from this goal.
Visit the Annual Giving Youtube channel for the latest student created video, featuring our own John Faranda '79.
Please show your support for the next generation of CMC Alumni and help us make history by making your gift before June 30. Visit www.cmc.edu/giving today.
