Zotero is a Firefox browser add-on and web-based citation manager that allows you to track and save articles, websites, and more, plus automatically format and export bibliographies. It is a popular free and open source alternative to tools like RefWorks and EndNote, and provides many collaboration options.
Come to this workshop to learn how to use Zotero in your research, including:
Saving and annotating sources (such as citations, full text items, web pages, images, and other objects)
Exporting information as formatted references
Creating and joining research groups for collaborative work
Bring your own laptop if you want to learn on your own machine, and be sure to install Zotero before you attend!
Snacks will be available. Also, check out our online how-to guide for this session.
