“Must See” Asian Film Series

Asian Languages & Literature, Asian Studies, and the Pacific Basin Institute are pleased to announce the schedule for the 2013-14 “Must See” Asian Film Series. This monthly film series will sample some of the most popular and critically respected films from East Asia.

2) Thursday, October 17: In the Mood for Love (Hong Kong, 2000)

3) Thursday, November 14: Oldboy (South Korea, 2003)

4) Thursday, December 12: Tampopo (Japan, 1985)

5) Thursday, January 30: Chunking Express (Hong Kong, 1994)

6) Thursday, February 20: Rashomon (Japan, 1950)

7) Thursday, March 20: Memories of Murder (South Korea, 2003)

8) Thursday, April 17: Twilight Samurai (Japan, 2002)

All films will be shown from 7 pm in the Fireside Lounge, Room 220, Mason Hall (550 Harvard Ave.) at Pomona College.
