Happy Anniversary Title IX: CMC Invites Ann Meyers Drysdale, VP of the NBA's Phoenix Suns, to Athenaeum

Title IX was brought into law 40 years ago. It states: No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.
It has benefited countless students over the past four decades as they have been able to enjoy federally funded athletic and educational programs. As one of the first beneficiaries of Title IX, Ann Meyers Drysdale is an ideal speaker to observe this momentous anniversary.

Ann Meyers Drysdale's campus visit is generously supported by CMS Athletics, the Kravis Leadership Institute, the Robert Day School of Economics and Finance, the Berger Institute for Work, Family and Children, the Center for Human Rights Leadership, and the Athenaeum.
