The open enrollment period this year for benefits selection is Monday, Oct. 28 through Friday, Nov. 15. Benefits information will be sent through campus mail during the week of Oct. 21.

This is the time when benefits-eligible employees may make changes to their current health care packages. For more information, Christine Lowe, CMC’s benefits specialist, will be in Bauer Center (lower level, room 108) on Monday, Oct. 28 from 1 to 5 p.m., and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29 to answer benefits questions. Reservations are not required.

Additionally, The Claremont Colleges’ annual benefits fair will be held on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Edmunds Ballroom at Smith Campus Center on the Pomona College campus, 170 E. Sixth Street. Representatives from health, dental, and life insurance providers will be available to answer questions.

The new “plan year” is effective Jan. 1, 2003 through Dec. 31, 2004.
