The charm of living in a small community such
as Claremont is never more plentiful than in the summer, when activities
abound for any and all excuses to be outdoors. Below is a sampling
of various events to look for these next months, as the lazy days
of summer cast their golden, sunset spell:
•Claremont Farmer's Market
What: The Farmer’s Market, featuring fresh fruits and
vegetables and organic produce
Times: Sundays, from 8 a.m. to noon.

•Claremont Summer Concert Series
Admission: free
Information: The Monday Night Concerts in the Park series
runs from July 8 - Sept. 2 at Memorial Park.
The series includes classic rock, symphonic "pops," Dixieland,
blues, oldies rock & roll, country, Big Band Jazz, and steel
drum. Concertgoers begin arriving as early as 6 p.m. to enjoy picnic
dinners in the park.
