Monday Night Concerts at Memorial Park
7:30 p.m., July 9 - Sept. 3:
Claremont's weekly concert series offers free music under the stars at Memorial Park. Arrive early to stake out a spot on the lawn and bring a picnic dinner and blanket or low lawn chairs. Concessions will be offered by the Kiwanis Club, event co-sponsor. Guest lineup includes a variety of musical groups and styles.

Upcoming performers include the Inland Valley Youth Chorale, Slouch in the Couch, The Happy Crowd, and the Paul Cash Environmental Magic Show. Concerts are free. Information: 399-5490.
Movies in the Park
At dusk, Aug. 7 - Aug. 16, various days
The Claremont Police Department will host free Family Movies in the Park in neighborhood parks throughout the city. Hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be served before the show, and the Human Services Department will be on site with games and crafts prior to the movie. Movies begin August 7 at Wheeler Park (626 Vista Drive). For more information: 909-399-5411.
Depot Jazz Series
7 to 8:30 p.m., Fridays, Sept. 21, 28, and Oct. 5, 12, 19
The Claremont Depot is the site for live music during the Depot Jazz Series. The free, public concerts feature a different band and style of jazz each week, in the front plaza of the Depot Transit Center, 200 W. First Street.
