4 to 7:30 p.m., June 3: Evening at the Oasis. Play wildflower bingo, visit live desert creatures, examine unusual plant adaptations, and more. Cost is $5 per person, maximum $20 per family. Pre-registration is recommended. Call Rachel: 909-625-8767, ext. 224.
2 to 6 p.m., June 23: Butterfly Bonanza. One of the Botanical Garden's series of classes, this session focuses on butterflies. The garden is home to plants that both the larva and adult butterfly need to survive. Participants will learn how to identify the great many butterfly species in the garden and help staff take a butterfly census. The class includes games, crafts and learning activities, butterfly hunts, and lessons on how to grow and maintain your own butterfly gardens at home.
Cost is $15 per child, with no charge for accompanying adults. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required. Call Rachel: 909-625-8767, ext. 224.
