The Los Angeles Chapter of the Claremont McKenna Alumni Association is hosting an evening outing to the Pantages Theater on Friday, April 20 for a performance of Wicked, a musical about the untold story of the witches of Oz, based on the best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire.
Wicked features music and lyrics by Academy Award-winning Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin, Pocahontas, and The Prince of Egypt), writing by Winnie Holzman (My So Called Life, Once And Again, and thirty something), and is directed by Tony Award-winner Joe Mantello.
CMC alumni, parents, friends, and participating guests will gather at 7 p.m. for a "CMC-only" beverage platform at the theater, followed by the production at 8.
The Pantages Theater is located at 6233 Hollywood Blvd., in Los Angeles.
