More than 500 parents and family members are expected to attend this year's three-day event, with activities including a family brunch in Collins Dining Hall, family photos (with commemorative picture frames), walking tours of campus, special-interest lectures and presentations by staff and faculty members, a reception at the home of President Pamela Gann, student-parent dinners at the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum, theater activities, athletics events, a target shoot at the ROTC shooting range, an archery demonstration at the Easton Archery Range, and a debate featuring award-winning members of The Claremont Colleges Debate Union, on the topic of whether California should provide universal health care to its residents. On Monday, Feb. 19, parents are invited to attend and participate in various CMC classes. Other activities planned that day include a men's lacrosse match against Loyola Marymount University on Parents Field.

Registration for the event is due Feb. 9. Forms and a complete event schedule may be found at: http://www.claremontmckenna.edu/parentgateway/club/FamilyWeekend/Schedule2007.pdf.
