President's Leadership Conference Set

The annual President's Leadership Conference this year will highlight Student Research at Claremont McKenna College, with events beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12. The event brings together alumni and other friends of the College to discuss relevant and timely issues.
This year's program, emphasizing student research opportunities, includes:
Remarks by President Pamela Gann and Jerry Garris, associate vice president of research and institutes and director of foundation and corporate relations, who assumes his duties as vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty this July;
Updates on student research opportunities at CMC's 11 institutes;
Presentations by Joint Science student researchers.
Activities get underway with registration and a continental breakfast from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in the Founders' Room at Bauer Center.
