Professor Blomberg Quoted in New York Times'”Education Life” on Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s

An article in the Friday, June 22 New York Times Education Life section takes a look at schools that are making it possible for students to earn two degrees in a shorter period of time. For the piece, “A Two-for-One Deal: Bachelor’s Plus Master’s,” writer Laura Pappano turned to CMC’s S. Brock Blomberg P’13, dean of the Robert Day School of Economics and Finance, and Peter Barker Professor and George Roberts Fellow.

Pappano’s opener: Do you want a master’s with that bachelor’s? Think of it as adding fries and a Coke for an Extra Value Meal, has definite bite at Claremont McKenna, where entering freshmen arrive “already thinking about a graduate degree,” Blomberg says.
