Reunion Weekend 2007 Welcomes Alumni to Campus, May 18-20

Reunion Weekend comes to campus this Friday, May 18 through Sunday, May 20, beginning with an 11 a.m. registration and dorm room check-in on Friday at Heggblade (continuing through 7 p.m.), and an admission information session that same morning, from 9 to 10, in the College's admission office. The 16th Annual Golf Classic follows from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., off-campus, while guests remaining at CMC are invited to an In-N-Out hamburger lunch on North Quad from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Other activities and highlights planned for Reunion Weekend this year celebrating graduating classes ending in 2 and 7include a discussion by Vice President and Dean of Admission and Financial Aid Richard Vos (Could I Get Into CMC Today?), and a Reunion Book Club tea discussion with Jonathan Petropoulos, the John V. Croul Chair of European History and director of The Center for the Study of the Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights, on his 2006 book Royals and the Reich: The Princes von Hessen in Nazi Germany. An alumni panel discussion/real estate symposium, moderated by Ron Teeples, the Boswell Professor of Economics, will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 19. That afternoon will also feature an alumni economic forecast symposium moderated by Dean of the Faculty and Vice President for Academic Affairs Greg Hess, from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.
