Robin Aspinall Honored at Board of Trustees Retreat in Ojai, California

The Claremont McKenna College Alumni Association welcomed Robin Aspinall, CMC's vice president for business & administration and treasurer, as an honorary member at a ceremony during the 2012 Board of Trustees Retreat in Ojai, California. CMC Alumni Association President Carol (Oliver) Hartman '86 presented Ms. Aspinall with a plaque to note her new status. The welcoming coincided with Ms. Aspinall's ten-year anniversary at the College. She joins more than 80 distinguished individuals--including Donald McKenna, Pamela Gann, George Benson, and Jill Stark--who have been inducted as honorary CMC alumni over the years.
Following the retreat Aspinall said,"I was surprised and honored to be named an honorary member of the CMCAA at the Retreat. I have had a chance to work with a small number of alumni for various reasons over the past few years, and all have been a pleasure to work with. The highlight was sitting with Carol Hartman at dinner (at her request) and wondering why she wanted me to go to the podium with her. Afterward, I was relieved that it was all a good thing!"
