Under the Lights Presents Murder Mystery
Dinner Theater at the Athenaeum

'Tis the season to attend a murder mystery! This year, for the first time ever, ASCMC and the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum are partnering with CMC's very own acting troupe, Under the Lights, to present "Not So Silent Night," a holiday celebration filled with merriment and, yes, murder. In two sold-out shows on the evenings of December 7th and 8th, Under the Lights will perform Tom Chiodo and Peter DiPietro's Murder at Rutherford House in the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum.
During this "Not So Silent Night," Athenaeum guests are welcomed into Lady Rutherford's "manor," a home that looks suspiciously akin to the Ath. Lady Rutherford, for legal reasons, is throwing the fifth annual dinner party commemorating the death of her husband, and everyone is invited. Each guest, upon arrival, receives a dossier, detailing their relation to the hostess and the Rutherford family. The food is delicious and the company outrageous. The cast of the show mingles with the diners until MURDER!
Before the main course is served, the first victim is dead. It is up to the guests, with the help of Wendle Weedle, P.I., to catch the criminal. Justice must prevail if everyone is to live to dessert!
Suspects include Jennifer Baute '12, Laila Heid '14, Javed Jasani '13, Will Kahn '12, Zeben Kopchak '12, Julia Starr '12, Wade Vaughn '13, Andie Wheatley '13, Steven Zima '13. Katherine Wernet '11 directs.
