Course Description
An examination of traditions predicting the end of the world and the
agents expected to bring about apocalyptic change. The course traces the
origins and development of apocalyptic thought in Judaism and Christianity,
explores how people have described and planned for Armageddon, and surveys
the contemporary responses to the "end of time."
