Catherine L. Reed

I am a cognitive neuroscientist in the Department of Psychology at Claremont McKenna College. My research examines influences of the body on attention, perceptual, and emotional processing, with particular focus on interpersonal body perception and emotional perception. More specifically I seek to understand the role that the body plays in directing our perception and cognition to our own actions and those of others. I determine how this understanding of others' actions differs in expert, developmentally delayed, and patient populations.
