The 4th Annual Robert Day School
Case Competition

Friday, February 24, 2012

Are you interested in working with your peers to win a $5,000 prize? If so, the Robert Day School case competition provides you with an opportunity to work in a team while thinking critically about business ethics and leadership. You will present your case analysis to a panel of judges consisting of faculty members and practitioners, and the winners of the $5,000 prize will be announced during a reception on February 24th at the California Club in downtown Los Angeles. The Robert Day School will provide transportation to the reception.

ELIGIBILITY

The competition is open to all CMC students and Robert Day Scholars. You do not need a background in economics or finance to participate in the competition. The first 15 teams (consisting of four students) to register will be eligible for the competition.

15 teams have already registered for the competition so registration is now closed.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

After forming a team of four eligible students, you can register by sending an e-mail to bdennis@cmc.edu during the registration period. Registration will open on Monday, February 13th at noon and will close once 15 teams of students have registered. The e-mail to register should include the names and preferred e-mail address for each member of your team.

The case for the competition will be distributed on Monday, February 20th at 4:00 p.m. in Pickford Auditorium. Each team must have at least one representative present at this meeting.

The case competition will be held on Friday, February 24th from noon to 4:30 p.m. in Bauer Center classrooms. Additional details pertaining to the competition will be available during the meeting on February 20th, including information about the California Club reception that will follow the competition.
