Keith R. McCammon '10 - Student Manager

Keith McCammon was born and raised in Chicago, IL.  He is now in his junior year studying International Relations and Arabic. At the Rose Institute, Keith has spent the last three years working on the Kosmont-Rose Institute Cost of Doing Business Survey serving as the project's manager before taking on the task as one of this year's Student Managers.  On campus, he is active in the Army ROTC, and enjoys motorcycles, deep diving, and raising ducks.

  

Abhi M. Nemani '10 - Student Manager

Abhi Nemani is majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE).  He was raised in Southern Illinois and went to high school in St. Louis, Missouri.  At CMC, he serves as editor of the newspaper, The CMC Forum, and as president of the College's mock trial program. At the Rose Institute, his focus has ranged from business analysis of regional industries to digital archiving for the California Political History Archive and Database. Currently, he is working with Professor Ken Miller on researching and publishing a definitive database of state ballot initiatives and legal challenges for open, public use. After graduation, Abhi plans to attend law school.

 

Emily A. Forden '10 - Assistant Student Manager

Emily Forden  graduated from high school in Wellesley, Massachusetts and is double majoring in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) and History.  She has been working at the Rose Institute since her freshman year and has been most active on the Institute's survey projects. She hopes to develop a project based on California Cultural Resource Management this fall. Besides state and local government, Emily is interested in Roman archeology and plans to pursue a Master's degree in Classical History and Archeology in the United Kingdom before returning to the United States to work towards a Ph.D. in Anthropology with an emphasis on Osteo-Archeology.

 

Helen E. Pollock '11 - Kosmont Project Manager

Helen Pollock '11 is from Sacramento, California. She is currently pursuing a degree in international relations with a focus in the Middle East. At the Rose Institute, Helen is involved with redistricting and GIS projects, and has served as Assistant Project Manager of the Kosmont Survey.  In addition to working at the Institute, Helen is the secretary of the Claremont International Relations Society, the president of the Rotaract Club of the Claremont Colleges, and a tutor at the CMC Writing Center. This past summer Helen analyzed pending legislation for the California State Assembly with the Republican Caucus Department of Policy, as well as working at the Rose Institute as a Girard Fellow.
