Because of differences between the German and the CMC academic calendar, students need to plan to study in Germany during the spring semester or stay for the entire academic year.  
 

Berlin (IES)

Housing: Students live in a single or double room with German and international students in a suite arrangement with a shared kitchen and bath.
Program Eligibility: German 1 and a cumulative GPA of 9.0 required.
Language: English and German

Freiburg (IES)

Program Name: IES - Freiburg Language and Area Studies
Students can apply for full year or spring semester only.
Type:  Stand Alone & Direct Enrollment
Housing: Students live in a Residence Hall with German and International students.
Program Eligibility: German 44 and a cumulative GPA of 9.0 required.
