WASC Accreditation Review

Claremont McKenna College is accredited by the Western Association of Colleges.

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is one of six regional associations that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the United States; and is an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Education and the United States Department of Education.

The College is currently undergoing its periodic reaffirmation of accreditation by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities. The College's Institutional Proposal for Reaffirmation of Accreditation was approved as submitted to the Accrediting Commission in June 2007.
