Law School Fair and Financing Law School Workshop
On Tuesday, November 13th from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in McKenna Auditorium, CMC will host its first law school fair in recent memory. Organized by the West Coast Consortium of Private Law Schools, representatives from 19 institutions - including USC, Loyola Marymount, and the University of Washington - will be on hand to answer questions about everything from their school’s admission and financial aid policies to their curricular and co-op offerings.
Immediately preceding the Fair from 6:00 - 6:50 p.m. (also in McKenna Auditorium), members of the Law School Consortium will host a "Financing Law School" workshop. “Students’ primary concern is usually getting into law school,” commented Jason Jeffrey, CMC’s Pre-Law Advisor. “But with the average debt for law school exceeding $100,000, students need to give serious consideration to how they’ll pay for their legal education. That’s why we requested and are excited about this workshop.”
So whether one is just beginning to consider law school or is in the midst of applying, the event will be valuable for anyone who wishes to add “Esq.” to her name.
Registering in advance for both events is recommended and may be done through CMConnect (click here).
