Yong has served on the faculty at the London School of Economics, the University of Southern California, Claremont McKenna College, and Yonsei University—where he received the President’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in Research. An advisor to governments and central banks, including the Federal Reserve and the Bank of Korea, he is a frequent commentator for major media outlets such as The Economist, Bloomberg, BBC, and CNN. He also actively serves as a corporate consultant and public speaker.
