CMC WORLDMEET 2026 - ATHENS, GREECE

JUNE 17-21, 2026

Worldmeet 2026 in Athens will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence by exploring the classical Greek philosophical underpinnings of the American founding. With experienced locals and CMC’s own Greek-American political philosopher Ioannis “Yannis” Evrigenis P’27, the Alice Tweed Tuohy Professor of Government and Ethics and director of the Open Academy program, we will enjoy stimulating discussions of how Greek philosophers influenced the Founders, as well as explore current topics covering Greek and European politics, economics, culture, and arts. We also will explore historic sites such as Delphi, the Acropolis, and Sounion, among others. Coupled with savory Mediterranean cuisine and wines and warm CMC camaraderie, Worldmeet 2026 also will be a memorable way to celebrate the conclusion of the 13-year presidency of Hiram Chodosh and wish him and his wife, Priya Junnar, a warm farewell and thanks!

Registration opens January 2026.
