Returning Student Move-In
Check in at Story House, unless otherwise indicated via email from Residential Life. Meal plans will begin at Collins with dinner on Saturday, August 29th.

Sunday, August 30, 2026, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Fall Break
Residence halls and apartments remain open.
Monday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 20, 2026
Thanksgiving Break
Residence halls and apartments remain open. Meal plans are able to be used during this period at one designated dining hall for all 5C campuses. Details will be sent to students about the location and hours prior to break.
Wednesday, November 25 through Sunday, November 29, 2026
Winter Break
Residence halls are closed. Student apartments remain open. Meal plans are not active during this period and dining options on the 5C campuses may be limited.
Residence halls close Saturday, December 19, 2026 at 10:00am
Residence Halls reopen Sunday, January 17, 2027, 11:00am – 5:00pm and Monday, January 18, 2027, 8:00am – 4:30pm
*Please make your travel arrangements accordingly. Your Resident Assistant will not be able to let you into your room.
Spring Break
Residence halls and apartments remain open. Meal plans are not active during this period and dining options on the 5C campuses may be limited.
Begins after last class on Friday, March 12, 2027
Classes resume on Monday, March 22, 2027
Summer Break
Residence halls and apartments close on Sunday, May 16, 2027 at Noon.
All students, including seniors, must be out of their rooms and apartments by this time.
